2286cc petrol, manual. This intriguing Land Rover is an ex-military Series IIA 109in, with a later conversion to the current armoured, riot-proof bodywork, incorporating a Series III dashboard. In recent years it has been used for the TV drama "Say Nothing", and the vendor purchased it from one of our sales in 2025. Since then it has received a thorough refurbishment including a galvanised bulkhead, new tyres, exhaust, seats, dashboard, brakes, shock absorbers, seatbelts, carburettor and upgraded headlights.
In addition to its present V5C, the history file contains a collection of maintenance receipts from 2001 to 2020, MoT certificates covering 2001 to 2017, an old photo of the vehicle as a truck cab, and a Heritage Certificate. It was originally supplied in RAF Blue by Central Army Depot Hilton in July 1969, and registered in 1981. The odometer shows 92,560 miles.
